With reference to The Cottages postcard on Frampton Green the building and cottage on the north side of The Firs is no longer there. I wonder when these buildings were demolished? Does anyone have this information?

I may be able to help with the question of when the cottage behind The Firs was demolished.
Over 20 yrs ago Eric Aldridge of Churchend, F-O-S, who passed a year or so ago, asked his father Pip Aldridge if he could recall the demolition of these cottages. At that time Pip was in his mid or late 90s. He lived in the house next to the boundary wall of The Court at Fitcherbury. Others will know its name (Old Coffee House?). Pip's information led me to believe that the cottage shown behind The Firs in this postcard picture was demolished in the very early years of the C20th.
